Heavy Equipment Operators

Heavy Equipment Operators must have the ability, knowledge and experience to proficiently operate heavy equipment. A working knowledge of heavy civil and highway construction is preferred.

Core Duties:

• Embrace and lead with the Core Principles of our Company
• Be punctual, dependable, and professional at all times
• Lead by example in regards to safety and have the ability to recognize unsafe conditions and report them to leadership
• Perform daily inspection of equipment to ensure it is safe and ready to operate
• Perform daily checks of all fluids to ensure proper levels
• Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness both interior and exterior of the machine.
• Maintain the daily desired production schedule for that machine
• Willingness to work hours as required

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with jobsite supervisors and fellow team members
• Must be able to effectively use all required PPE and lift up to fifty pounds.  Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position.  Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.  Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently.
• Minimum of 1 year experience of operating heavy equipment
